Complains
Hmm... today is wednesday and i think i have a few unimportant things to address. I must agree that i love to complain and voice out my opinion although it may not be pleasant to hear.
Was on the train to school when two aunty boarded the train. At first that sat separately as there are not enough seats. Finally when they got to sit together, one of the aunty said: "SMRT should have build more seats... blah blah.." In fact many people hear already treat them as transparent. But for me, i feel like saying to them that if they are so smart, why don't the two aunty join SMRT and contribute their noble ideas? I really wonder how they can make their idle speech a more practical one. No doubt there are room for improvement, but it does not make both of you seem smarter indeed.
As there are time to kill, i wanted to go Nanyang Business School and use their "free access lab". Seriously, this lab is not really that "free access". Went in and tried to log in their computer and guess what? Only NBS students can log in. WTF. Why not just name it "NBS-students-only-lab". I don't know why, but NBS the building itself is really that idiotic and unfriendly. Even an NTU student also cannot use their com. Fancy all the complain from all over NTU when SBS people got their own "restricted access lab and room", where any students ( not necessary SBS students ) can log in once they gain entry to the rooms. Jealous and egoistic, students just want to infiltrate and gain access into, as if they have "conqured" the SBS building, empowered the system and landed into a land of golden eggs without the access card. Big Deal.
Since i can't log on to the "free access lab", i went directly up 1st level in S1 block and use the lab. Tried to open a word document from edventure also got problem. System sucks these days. Then what is the used of pasting a nice sticker on the top right hand corner of the computer that says "Microsoft Office 2007" ?? What a great place to be in, frozen by the strong air-con simultaneously.
What's more. Tried to request for a business intersem subject 3 weeks ago. Find the office like hell also cannot find. Where is it? It is hiding... hiding quietly just beside the com lab. CMI. When i approach the staff, disorientated and sweating like mad under the hot day just before a paper, an old malay staff gave me a sickening attitude and tell me they cannot do anything because it is the student academic office ( SAO ) who is in-charge of this kind of thing. This is super unlike the feeling NBS gave me 1 sem ago, when a nice lady have empowerment over subjects for intersem and tried her best to assign subjects to us. In the end, after "climbing up the mountain" to SAO, they gave another subject to me, saying that's the best because the subject i like is "packed to the maximum". My friends who are busy studying for exams?? They got the "packed to the maximum" subjects just by emailing SAO. Thanks ar.
No hard feeling, but this is what i've been observing around me.
