Missing in action

Hmm... haven't been blogging for the past 4 days! Don't know why, but there is just nothing much to account for. Had a hard time thinking what i did already!

Hmm... if i didn't recall wrongly, i reformatted my laptop! Tried to reformat my laptop a few times this week, but i don't know how!! Asked Yi Hui, and she replied me the Rescue and Recovery discs can be created. True... But i'm still in trouble. ( i'm too noob perhaps ) In the end when i called the IBM servicing team. They send someone from KL to call me! After much attempt to guide me ( they're very polite! ), they said i have to come down to 9 Changi Business Park Central 1 ( very near EXPO actually ) because there was no "reformat data" in the BIOS ( some operating system in my laptop ). SIAN DIAO. Immediately, i packed my stuff and go there before it closes at 7.30pm. Stayed there for 2 whole hours waiting just to format my com.

After i've formatted my com in one of their office ( by myself ), then they mentioned: there is no microsoft office for walk-in customer. When you buy laptop from NTU, they use a program called GHOST to make an "image" of microsoft software, but they removed the "reformat data" as well. Which means once i reformatted my com in IBM servicing centre, i have no more microsoft office. How am i going to do my lap report when school reopens? Super duper sian and sad. Then i spent the next few days searching the internet for free microsoft office downloads. Still... effort wasted cos nothing is found.

Anyway, computer aside, i did had an enjoyable time with my sister as we played the piano and cycle around the neighbourhood on sat! haha! My sister enjoyed herself very much from what i can see. All i want is her to be happy. After which my maid prepared fish and chip for us! She is a superb cook:

Haha! Finally on sun, i bravely set foot on the suntec alone! Squeeze through the crowd and walked for 2 hours. In the end, i bought a 1G thumbdrive for $22 and a 2M pixel webcam for $22.50. Haha! Enjoyed squeezing through though... :P
